OSTONAQULOV TOSHTEMIR ESHIMOVICH

Doctor of Agriculture, Academic of Russian Federation St. Petersburg’s Academy

He was born on the 10th of May 1954 in 5-Surkhon sovkhoz, Jarkurghan district of Surkhandarya region. In 1975 he finished Samarkand agricultural institute’s faculty of agriculture with honors. 1977-1979 he was an assistant at Uzbekistan vegetables and potato scientific research institute.

1976-1984 he was an assistant, associate professor at the chair of cotton, selection and seeding. In 1989-1991 he was a doctoral candidate at former Soviet Union’s plant scientific research institute. In 1992-2004 he was the head of fruit and grapes chair. In 2004-2005 he was the dean of faculty of agriculture.  In 2005-2011 he was the first educational vice-rector. Since November 2011 he is the rector of Samarkand Institute of agriculture.

His main scientific research fields are not only selection and modern seeding of potato, tomato, maize but also their planting, growing, increasing abundant harvest as well as their long life.  During long time of research he published more than 280 articles, 3 monographs, 10 manuals, 5 types of potato, one maize and 5 patents’ author. Under his patronage 2 doctoral and 6 dissertations were defended.

KHALILOV NASRIDDIN

Doctor of agricultural subjects, professor

He was born on the 5th February 1948 in Ravot village, Payarik district of Samarkand region. In 1972 he finished Samarkand State University’s Biology faculty with honors.  Since 1976 he was Samarkand agricultural institute’s advanced student, assistant, associate professor, educational deputy dean of the faculty of agronomy, professor, head of chair.

His main researches activity is late autumn wheat’s biology and its growing technology. His scientific research is late autumn’s wheat both productivity of harvest in watering land and increasing its quality.  Lately he published 4 manuals, 2 monographs and 1 informational manual. He is an author of more than 120 articles in the country and abroad.

Nowadays he is working over creating the technology which saves resources and ecologically clean supported by budget. He is carrying out scientific activity on Republic of Uzbekistan Science and technology centre’s grant and institute agreement.

 

ABDUKARIMOV DIAMAT TUKHTAEVICH
Doctor of agricultural subjects, professor

He was born on the 17th June 1934 in Samarkand city. In 1957 he finished Samarkand agricultural institute successfully. Since 1957 he was advanced student, assistant, associate professor, professor, institute’ rector and head of chair.

His main research activities are selection, seeding, and growing technology of potato, grain crops, oil products, topinambur (Helianthus tuberosus) earth apple.

He is an author of registered by state wheat is Shedor, Ulughbek-600, Uzbekistan-1, (arpa) Afrosiyob, Temur, potato Zarafshon, Kuvonch-1156 M, Bahro-30, Hamkkor-1150, Bardoshli 3.

He published more than 250 articles, monographs, textbooks, manuals, dedicated to selection and seeding out of which more than 10 are textbooks and manuals.

Under his patronage 7 doctoral and more than 26 dissertations were defended.

He is carrying out scientific research on Republic of Uzbekistan Science and technology centre’s grant.

ERGASHEV IBRAGIM TASHKENTOVICH
Doctor of agricultural subjects, professor

He was born on the 20th April 1964 in Beshyogoch village of Samarkand region. In 1985 he finished Samarkand agricultural institute’s the faculty of agriculture of with honors. In 1986 he was agronomist of Bolshevik  district. In 1986-1989 scientist he was an advanced student at the Uzbekistan vegetables and potato scientific research institute. In 1990-199 he was a scientist of this institute. Since 1991 he was advanced student, assistant, doctoral candidate, associate professor, professor and head of chair.

His main scientific research seeding of potato without viruses in Uzbekistan. He is an author of registered by state potato is Kuvocnh-1656 M, Bakhro-30 and Hamkor-1150.

He has 96 published works, out of which are 12 textbooks and manuals.

At the moment under his patronage are 1 associate professor, 4 advanced students.

He is carrying out scientific research on Republic of Uzbekistan Science and technology centre’s grant and institute agreement.

UZOKOV PANJI
Doctor of agricultural subjects, professor

He was born on the 5th of June 1935 in Kamashi district of Kashkadarya region. He is agricultural chemistry, earth science and protecting plants chair professor. He is an author of number scientific, manual work which makes 78. Out of which there are 3 textbooks, tutorials 6, workbooks 3, monographs 2, scientific articles are 68 (10 Internationally, 34 in the republic and 24 at the institute). Under his patronage 2 advance students defended their work. Honoured pakhtakor of Uzbekistan.

P. Uzokov’s main scientific research is increasing abundant harvest of widely spread carbonate calcium and magnesium salty soil, its features, structure, development in Zarafshan valley. In his research solution is given to widespread salt carbonate hydromorphic ground’s mineral and chemical properties, hydrogen dioxide physical properties, distribution of salt carbonate, profile redistribution and movement of carbonate in continuously watered ground, long retention of magnesium ion in observing complex, becoming magnesium saltiness, and other problems of Samarkand region. Another one of his research is to learn to identify structure, features and spread of newly adopted gypsum lands. It is dedicated to work out different ways of properly use of these lands in agriculture. On the basis of scientific research in Narpay and Pakhtachi districts the technology of getting rich harvest from cotton was elaborated. It was suggested to create a vineyard, plant grain crops in the soil in close vicinity of gypsum land.

 

ORIPOV RAZZOK ORIPOVICH
Doctor of agricultural subjects, professor

He was born on the 20th of August 1938 in Nekuz village, Koson district of Kashkadarya region. In 1960 he finished Samarkand agricultural institute’s faculty of agronomy with honors. Since 1968 he was an advanced student, assistant, associate professor, professor and now works as head of the chair.

His main scientific research is directed toward biology of cotton stem, growing technology and observation of seed the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Lately in the process of implementing reforms in education he made 4 textbooks and manuals, 1 monograph, 1 educational information. Dedicated to cotton-growing and plant growing he published more than 132 articles abroad and in the country.

At the moment he is working over resource saving, ecologically clean agricultural products. For instance studying growth technology of cotton.

Up to now he has leaded 2 dissertations, and 3 advanced students work.

He carries out his scientific research on the basis of grants.

MUMINOV KOMIL MUMINOVICH
Doctor of agricultural subjects, professor

He was born on the 10th of September 1951 in Gavband village, Okdaryo district of Samarkand region. In 1972 he finished Samarkand State University faculty of biology with honors. Since 1972-1978 he was a junior researcher, advanced student, and assistant. From 1978 he continued his career at Samarkand agricultural institute’s faculty of agronomy as a junior researcher, experience field administrator, chair assistant, an associate professor, faculty dean, and professor.

His main research is soil erosion in watering lands and means of struggling against. Performed researches directed to work out scientific approach for both to save and increase the abundant harvest.

Lately in the process of implementing reforms in education he made 3 textbooks and manuals, 2 monographs. More than 100 scientific, education methodological works to increase the fertility of soil and plant growing are published abroad as well as in the country.

At the moment he is working over not only increasing the abundant harvest, but also establishing technology of ecologically clean agricultural products. At present he is leading 2 dissertations, and 2 advanced students work.

 



HAMDAMOV ISKANDAR HAMDAMOVICH
Doctor of agricultural subjects, professor

He was born on the 13th of September 1933 in Turkman village, Dustlik society union, Samarkand district of Samarkand region. In 1957 he finished Samarkand State University faculty of biology. Since 1957 he was an assistant at Ferghana State pedagogy institute’s Botanic faculty.  He was an advanced student, and senior scientific researcher assistant at Samarkand Karakul institute. Samarkand agricultural institute botanic and plant’s physiology chairman, associate professor, professor as well as Fruit and Wine chair professor.

His main research is to increase abundant harvest in the desert, improve its condition, rationally use. At present he is working over technological elements of growing peas. He is an author of ‘Umid’ peas and strong autumn type wheat ‘Istiklol’. Lately in the process of implementing reforms in education he made 2 textbooks, 3 manuals, 2 monograph, and 5 educational information. More than 125 scientific, education methodological works dedicated to plant growing are published abroad as well as in the country.

At the moment he is working over technological elements of growing ‘khashaki’ and ‘khuraki’ types of peas. Until now he guided 7 dissertations. Now he is leading 1 advanced student work.

He is carrying out scientific research on Republic of Uzbekistan Science and technology centre’s grant.

 


HOSHIMOV FARHOD HAKIMOVICH
Doctor of agricultural subjects, professor

He was born on the 1ST of February 1944 in Cherneshovka village, Primore region. In 1965 he finished Samarkand agricultural institute’s faculty of agriculture with honors. 1967-1970s he was an advance student, later on chair assistant, associate professor, dean of the faculty, head of the chair, head of education department, educational vice rector. Since 1982 he is a chairman of agro chemistry, agriculture, and protecting plant growing.

His main research is to use nitrogen and phosphorus in the way of exchange planting of different kinds of agricultural products. Which influences the increase of abundant harvest, its quality. Lately in the process of implementing reforms in education he made 2 monograph and more than 40 scientific, tutorial works. All together he has more 240 scientific, education methodological works published abroad as well as in the country.

At the moment he is working over not only to increase the fertility and abundant harvest but also establishing technology of ecologically clean agricultural products. Until now he guided 2 doctors and 17 dissertations. Now he is leading 2 doctors and __ advanced and 3 research students’ work.

He is administering foreign countries 8,5 mln. soums ‘Section-412’ programme grant. Also over signed agreements several scientific researchers are going on.  Under his patronage runs institute’s central scientific laboratory.
